  • $125,000 to local groups to commemorate the Centenary of Anzac
  • $4.9 million for infrastructure and development at Orange Regional Airport
  • More than $8 million for councils under the Australian Government’s Financial Assistance Grant Programme
  • $19 million upgrade of Newell Highway north of Parkes
  • $56 million for road safety upgrades between Lithgow and Hartley Valley
  • More than $35 million for councils under the Roads to Recovery Programme
  • More than $2 million for Black Spot Roads funding
  • $1.5 million for Parkes Airport redevelopment project
  • $600,000 for Landcare Innovation Grants
  • $6.6 million AusLink Strategic Regional Programme – Hillston to Eumungerie Road
  • $1.08 millions Parkes Multimodal Transport Hub project
  • Nearly $1 million for Indigenous Community Support Services
  • $295,040 National Crime Prevention Program – The Widening the Circle Project – Lachlan Shire Council
  • Delivered on a promise to save the Peak Hill Doctor’s surgery, securing funding of $55,000;
  • Rural Transactions Centres for Hillston, Peak Hill, Trundle, Tullamore, Wilcannia, Menindee, Ivanhoe, White Cliffs, Tottenham, Tibooburra, Lake Cargelligo, Trangie and Tullibigeal
  • $10 million secured for the Orange bypass
  • $6 million for Peak Hill Multi-Purpose Service Development Fund
  • $600,000 for Oberon Goat Abattoir
  • Integral in bringing Prime Minister, John Howard, Deputy Prime Minister John Anderson, and Agriculture Minister, Warren Truss on drought tours of Western NSW. Resulted in interim EC for the Western Division, and the eligibility criteria for drought assistance being relaxed.

  • $1.4 million to improve heath outcomes at Dudley Private Hospital
  • $65 million new dental facility for Charles Sturt University in Orange
  • $652,281 Additional funding for Royal Flying Doctor Service
  • More than $12 million for Aged Care across Calare
  • More than $17 million for Calare hospitals under the Health and Hospital Fund

Delivering Educational Facilities for our children

  • $120,000 disabled access – Parkes Christian School
  • $210,000 upgrade food technology facilities – Forbes High School
  • Investing in our Schools program has injected over $6.2 million in the Parkes electorate some examples include;
